Our Staff
Director: Nicole Edwards
Mrs. Nicole lives in Charles City with her husband and fur babies. She goes to Colosse Baptist church where she teaches Sunday school for the four and five years old. She also is in a lady's mission group called the Faith Bears and sings in the Glory Bound choir. She has her Bachelor’s in human services with a minor in special education from Old Dominion University. She has also completed her associate degree in early childhood education at John Tyler Community College in December 2021 and will continue to complete her bachelor’s at VCU. She has been teaching and leading at FCDS for 14+ years as a full-time lead teacher, school age coordinator, assistant director, and now as director.

Assistant Director: Nichole Dixon
Mrs. Nichole Dixon lives in King William with her husband and 3 children. She attends Hanover Evangelical church and was Baptized by Pastor Ed in 2018. Her children are very active in sports, they love to travel, and own a family business in their county as well as Hanover. She has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and another in Preschool Education. She started off with Friendly as a part-time afternoon teacher, then working her way to a full-time Lead teacher. 2024 marks her 13th year at the school.

All Friendly Staff are trained in CPR & First Aid for adults, children, and infants. In addition, multiple staff members are trained in Medication Administration. Each year, our staff are required to obtain continuing education hours through various means of training.
